Workshops inspired by the nerikomi technique
We invite you to exceptional classes inspired by the Asian art of nerikomi – a technique of combining different colored ceramic clays. This is a great opportunity to experiment with color and create unique patterns.
What will happen?
- Working with clay slabs at a table in comfortable conditions.
- A technique accessible to everyone, including those with no prior experience with clay.
- Ability to create both harmonious, regular patterns and free, expressive compositions in a marble style.
During the workshop, clays in light beige, black, red, and beige colors will be available. The nerikomi technique, also known as agate or marbled clay, will particularly appeal to those who appreciate natural patterns inspired by stones and subtle earth tones.
What can you make?
We recommend creating a small bowl, mug, plate, or jewelry stand – you can make up to two items during the workshop. An experienced instructor will help you realize your ideas and advise on technical matters.
After the classes, the works will be glazed and fired at high temperature, making them fully functional.
The number of places is limited. The classes last 2.5 hours.
We invite you to create together!
The minimum number of participants for the workshop to take place is 3.
