Freeform throwing on the potter's wheel
You already know the basics, but lack the equipment and space to just sit down and throw? We invite you to a 2-hour class, created especially for you to spread your wings and hone your craft in an intimate group.
What is it about? We don't impose any leading theme here. You come with your own idea and work at your own pace. Our experienced instructor is always at your disposal – he will advise, help you create a difficult shape or save a collapsing wall. And if you're lacking inspiration? Let us know, and we'll gladly prepare a creative challenge for you!
For whom? These classes are exclusively for people who can already center clay independently and know the basics of working on the wheel. (If you're just starting, we invite you to attend the "Pottery Wheel Throwing - Introduction" class first). The workshops are available for adults.
How to prepare? You don't need to make any special preparations – just comfortable clothes and shoes. Remember, however, that when working on the wheel, short nails (not extending beyond the fingertip) are essential and a great help. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the class to comfortably take your place.
Will I take a finished piece home? Yes! The successful forms you throw during the session will be left at the studio for bisque firing. They will be ready for pickup in about two weeks. Then you can take them home or sign up for separate workshops on Ceramic Decoration to color them with glazes.
Booking rules: Please make thoughtful purchases. Cancellation or rescheduling of classes in the system is only possible up to 3 days before their start date. After this time, it is not possible to change the date or apply for a refund.
The minimum number of participants for the workshop to take place is 3.
