Second-level Pottery Course

The second-level course at AliKe Pottery Studio consists of five intensive days of work at the potter's wheel – Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
This is a proposition for people who already have basic experience in turning and want to develop their skills by creating larger, more complex forms.

During the course, we will focus on working with large quantities of clay, perfecting technique and controlling form. Participants will learn to create large vessels and more complex structures, such as a teapot, a narrow-necked bottle, or forms composed of several elements.

The program also includes turning on a chak, working with various types of tools, and a discussion of the principles of joining and drying large molds. The course emphasizes precision, fluidity of movement, and understanding of the material – from centering to final finishing.

This is the perfect course for those who want to move from simple forms into the world of more challenging pottery and create their own original functional or decorative projects.
