Pottery Course Level II
The second-level course at AliKe Pottery Studio is five intensive days of working at the potter's wheel – from Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
This is an offer for people who already have basic experience in throwing and want to develop their skills by creating larger, more complex forms.
During the course, we will focus on working with large amounts of clay, perfecting technique, and control over form. Participants will learn to create large vessels and more complex constructions, such as a teapot, a narrow-necked bottle, or forms joined from several elements.
The program also includes trimming on a chuck, working with various types of tools, and discussing the principles of joining and drying large forms. The course emphasizes precision, fluidity of movement, and understanding the material – from centering to the final finishing of the work.
This is an ideal course for those who want to transition from simple forms into the world of greater pottery challenges and create their own original utilitarian or decorative projects.
