Wheel Throwing Course for Adults — Monday to Friday, 10:00–15:00

This intensive program is designed for anyone who wants to learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing or improve their existing skills.

During the course, participants will have the opportunity to explore various throwing techniques and gain essential knowledge about materials and tools.

In this course you will learn how to:

• properly centre your clay

• pull even and tall walls

• throw bowls — both small and large

• throw plates, vases, and bottles

• use wheel bats (from the simplest to the most advanced sets)

• trim your pieces

• join wheel-thrown elements

• and enjoy creative exploration of texture and form :)

The course price includes access to professional equipment and all necessary materials such as clay and tools. Each participant will have their own assigned wheel. The price also includes bisque firing of the works (up to 10 pieces per participant; pieces will be stored for 2 months after firing).

A lunch break (included in the price) is scheduled during the day. Hot drinks will also be available on-site. A minimum of 4 participants is required for the course to run.
