UG-53 Silver Grey is a Mayco Fundamentals underglaze in silver grey.
Mayco Fundamentals underglazes are designed for consistent color, easy application, and use on various ceramic bodies and across a wide temperature range.
Characteristics:

- Application: on bisque, dry clay, or leatherhard clay; typically 2–3 thin coats
- Finish without glaze: matte
- Firing: from low to high temperatures; color may change with firing temperature and atmosphere
For gloss, greater color intensity, and a usable surface, it is recommended to cover your work with a suitable transparent or matte transparent glaze. Test on your clay body, especially at higher temperatures.
Firing temperature: 1000 – 1300 °C
