Mayco SW-198 Rose Quartz
An opaque, glossy pink with delicate iridescent accents. At higher temperatures, the color may become lighter and more muted; the glaze exhibits movement on vertical surfaces.
Mayco Stoneware glazes are designed for stoneware firing in an oxidizing or reducing atmosphere. Apply in even coats to clean bisque.
Application: On bisque, in layers with a brush; mix thoroughly before use
Important: Due to its mobility, leave a safe margin above the foot of the ware.
The final effect depends on the clay body color, the number and thickness of coats, and the firing curve and atmosphere. We recommend testing on a sample before applying to your final piece.
Firing temperature: 1200 – 1300 °C
