Mayco SW-184 Speckled Toad
A glossy, dark green with olive speckles. At higher reduction firing temperatures, the speckle effect may fade, and the surface takes on a metallic, olive character.
Mayco Stoneware glazes are designed for stoneware firing in oxidation or reduction atmospheres. Apply in even coats to clean bisque.
Application: on bisque, in layers using a brush; mix thoroughly before use
The final effect depends on the clay body color, the number and thickness of coats, and the firing curve and atmosphere. We recommend testing on a sample before applying to a finished piece.
Firing temperature: 1200 – 1300 °C
