

Watercolor Masterclass with Grzegorz Wróbel – February
We cordially invite you to a series of Masterclass sessions with the Master of Watercolor.
Two thematic courses are available:
- City Nocturne – Wednesdays (February 4, 11, 18, 25, 5:15 PM–9:15 PM)
- City Panorama – Thursdays (February 5, 12, 19, 26, 5:15 PM–9:15 PM)
Each course includes 4 sessions of 4 hours each, totaling 16 hours of watercolor instruction under the guidance of an experienced artist.
Who are these courses for?
The courses are designed for individuals who:
- have been learning watercolor for a long time and need new challenges,
- want to learn advanced techniques and organize their skills,
- wish to learn step-by-step work with an experienced watercolorist.
Instructor
The course is led by Grzegorz Wróbel – a watercolorist and educator with over 20 years of experience in teaching watercolor and drawing.

Groups are limited to a maximum of 10 people, ensuring each participant receives individual guidance.
City Nocturne (Wednesdays)
Dates: February 4, 11, 18, 25 • 5:15 PM–9:15 PM
Theme: nighttime motif of Krakow's market square
Course Program
The course consists of 4 sessions, each leading to the next stage of working on the painting.
- working on specific examples,
- live demonstration – the instructor paints step by step,
- students create their own versions of the work with the help of the instructor,
- discussion of perspective, composition, and underdrawing construction,
- creating sketches, underdrawings, and auxiliary drawings.
Session Schedule

1st session – February 4 (4 h)
familiarization with the theme, making sketches,
making a pencil underdrawing on 56×38 cm paper,
beginning to apply masking fluid. -
2nd session – February 11 (4 h)
continuation of underdrawing and masking fluid application,
beginning to paint the artwork. -
3rd session – February 18 (4 h)
continuation of painting the main artwork. -
4th session – February 25 (4 h)
completion of painting the artwork,
final discussion.
The final discussion lasts approximately 15–30 minutes. Each participant will receive individual feedback on their work and a summary of what was learned during the course.
City Panorama (Thursdays)
Dates: February 5, 12, 19, 26 • 5:15 PM–9:15 PM
Theme: Warsaw panorama with the Vistula River in the foreground at sunset
Course Program
Also in this variant, the course consists of 4 sessions, each developing the next stage of the painting.
- working on a specific city panorama motif,
- demonstration of subsequent painting stages by the instructor,
- students independently creating their own version of the panorama,
- discussion of perspective, planes, and space construction,
- making sketches and auxiliary drawings.

making an underdrawing on 56×38 cm paper,
beginning to apply masking fluid. -
2nd session – February 12 (4 h)
continuation of underdrawing and work with masking fluid,
beginning to paint the artwork. -
3rd session – February 19 (4 h)
continuation of painting the main artwork. -
4th session – February 26 (4 h)
completion of painting the artwork,
final discussion.
The final discussion lasts approximately 15–30 minutes and allows for detailed feedback on further work and skill development.
Provided Materials:
- watercolor paper for the main artwork (56×38 cm, 300 gsm, 100% cotton),
- masking fluid,
- supporting prints and reference materials,
- rigid backing boards, water containers, and a workspace at a table,
- hot beverages and water.

- City Nocturne: Indanthrene Blue, Turquoise
- City Panorama: Raw Umber, Purple Lake, Orange
Work Formats
- main format: 56×38 cm (watercolor paper 300 gsm, 100% cotton, large or medium texture),
- A4 format for sketches: 4–6 sheets, minimum 150 gsm.
In case of absence, it is not possible to make up for missed classes.
If you sign up for both courses, you will receive a 100 PLN discount on each.
The discount is only valid when purchasing both courses simultaneously. In case of cancellation of one of the courses (refund or withdrawal from the contract), the price of the remaining course will automatically be recalculated according to the regular price, i.e., 799 PLN. The refund amount will be reduced by the value of the discount previously granted.
