Goerg & Schneider 552 is a stoneware clay with a warm hue – ranging from light red to deep, dark red after firing. It contains a large amount of grog, which gives it a distinct, grainy texture and emphasizes its raw, natural character.

The clay is plastic and particularly well-suited for hand-building and creating medium-sized forms. Thanks to its structure, it provides good stability during work, which facilitates structural control and reduces the risk of deformation.
