Goerg & Schneider 359 is a stoneware body with a warm, natural hue – from salmon to beige – which, after firing, stands out with its subtle, pleasant colouring. It contains fine grog, which combines good plasticity with enhanced stability during work.

The body is versatile and suitable for both hand-building smaller forms and throwing on a potter's wheel, even for larger vessels. It provides good material control and comfort when working with more elaborate forms.

After firing, it achieves a warm, natural colour that looks particularly good when paired with glazes. Interesting visual effects can be achieved by leaving parts of the surface unglazed next to glazed areas, highlighting the contrast between the material and the finish.
