Weekly Wheel Throwing Workshops - Registration for 2026!
Weekly Wheel Throwing Workshops
We warmly invite you to our dedicated wheel-throwing workshops!
These classes are designed for participants who have already mastered the basics — you should be able to centre the clay and form a cylinder independently. During the workshops, we will refine existing skills and explore new pottery techniques. The program includes:
-
Centring and throwing the perfect cylinder – polishing the fundamentals that enable work with both small and large forms.
-
Bowls and plates – developing precision and throwing technique.
-
Advanced forms – bottles, lidded containers, and moon jars, which remain a challenge even for experienced potters.
-
Trimming, shaping, and an introduction to choosing clay bodies and understanding the drying process.
Classes are led by skilled instructors who guide participants with passion and expertise. We work with high-quality clay bodies from renowned manufacturers such as Sibelco, SIO, and George & Schneider.
Each participant receives their own workstation equipped with a Shimpo RK3 pottery wheel, ensuring comfort and effective learning.
Don’t miss the chance to immerse yourself in the world of pottery and create your own unique pieces! We look forward to welcoming you.
