Amaco PC-16 Purple Crystal
Purple glaze from the Potter's Choice series. At approximately 1200°C, it gives a more matte, violet effect, while at around 1240°C, it becomes glossy and more varied.
Potter's Choice is a series of stoneware glazes designed for complex color transitions, emphasizing texture, and layering several glazes.
Application: on bisque; mix thoroughly before use and apply in even layers
The appearance of the surface depends on the clay body, application thickness, application method, and firing schedule. Before glazing a larger batch, perform a test on the clay body you are using.
Firing temperature: 1200 – 1240 °C
