FAQ – Group for Sellers and Those Interested in AliKe Marketplace

1. What is this group for?

This group is for asking questions about the AliKe Marketplace. Instead of writing privately, please post your questions here so others can also benefit from the answers.

2. What information about me does the buyer see?

  • product name
  • description
  • photos
  • shipping time
  • information on whether the price includes VAT
  • information on whether you are a company or a private individual

Information such as email, phone, address, or account number is not shared with customers. It is used exclusively by AliKe for contact and settlements.

3. What does the "charge tax" option mean?

It means VAT.

  • Creators who are VAT payers should select this option.
  • Creators without VAT – do not select.

4. How does delivery work?

The customer chooses a parcel locker or courier during purchase. Information about the delivery method and address is sent to the Creator. AliKe does not handle shipping – each Creator fulfills their orders independently.

5. Where do I generate shipping labels?

You generate labels on your own, e.g., via:

  • InPost
  • DPD
  • DHL
  • brokers (e.g., BLPaczka)

6. Can a small shop negotiate rates with carriers?

Negotiations make sense with a volume of around 300 parcels per month. Therefore, it's best to start with brokers – they offer very favorable prices even for single shipments.

7. How do I set shipping rates?

  • rates depend on product weight
  • weight 0 = possibility to set free shipping
  • other rates are determined based on weight ranges

8. How do I list a set of teacups?

If you sell a set (e.g., 2 or 4 teacups), you add it as one product – one set.

9. Can I add variants like on Etsy?

Yes. Variants are active. You can add different models, colors, sizes, or quantities in one product.

10. Can I add discounts for sets?

Currently, no. Discounts would require displaying information about the lowest price from the last 30 days, which I want to avoid for legal reasons for now.

11. Does the buyer inform me about the chosen carrier?

Yes. In the order, you will see:

  • delivery method
  • address or parcel locker number

The Creator generates the label independently.

12. Will AliKe generate waybills?

Perhaps in the future, but for now, each Creator ships independently.

13. Can I use the InPost app?

Yes. The InPost app offers many conveniences, including courier pickup without printing a label.

14. Is my data safe?

Yes. I want Creators to receive ready orders without the need to share private data with customers.

15. Where can I find an example Creator page?

16. When can I start adding products?

You can add products now. After logging into the Creator panel, use the "Add product" option. This way, we can complete the offer in advance, and everything will be ready when the Marketplace launches.

17. Why can't I see other Creators or my products on the page?

During the preparation phase, all Creators and their products are "hidden" – the page is being built in the background. Products are not yet publicly visible.

All products are manually approved and only appear on the site after approval. Approval is done several times a day. Once we have a sufficient offer, the Marketplace will be launched publicly.

18. What is AliKe's commission and does it depend on the product price?

AliKe's commission is percentage-based and depends on the Creator's status:

  • active Members and instructors – 10% commission,
  • other Creators – 20% commission.

The commission is calculated on the product price.

20. Who pays for shipping and how does the delivery fee work?

The customer selects and pays the delivery fee when placing the order – according to the current rate table. This amount is then transferred to the Creator, who pays for the shipping himself with the chosen carrier (e.g., InPost, courier).

21. What are the shipping rates?

Poland – courier / parcel lockers:

  • 0 kg – 0.01 kg: 0.00 PLN (free)
  • 0.01 kg – 20 kg: 19.00 PLN
  • 20 kg – 30 kg: 25.00 PLN
  • 30 kg – 60 kg: 50.00 PLN

International shipping up to 2 kg (courier):

  • 0.1 kg – 1 kg: 49.00 PLN
  • 1 kg – 2 kg: 99.00 PLN

The price list may be updated as the Marketplace develops.
