Learning to throw on a potter's wheel in English.
We invite English-speaking people to take classes in throwing on a potter's wheel!
Meetings last 2.5 hours and the price includes clay and biscuit firing.
It is possible to arrange an individual time of classes during the week. Individual classes in English are conducted by the fantastic Julie Elise Gaunt (IG: themindfulpotter). For individual lessons with Julie, please contact us in advance via e-mail.
On Saturday afternoons, classes are conducted by Piotrek, who is one of my first teachers. It was he who polished my basics of centering and pulling out walls, and also helped me take my first steps in creating teapots and large moulds. The tricks and methods he taught me have been extremely useful to me over the years, and I hope he will pass his knowledge on to many future potters.
Piotr has been throwing since 2015 and is passionate about Japanese and Korean folk ceramics, but not only. He is also a graduate of the Warsaw School of Ceramics, where he also taught wheel throwing classes.
When buying at least 4 classes, a 15% discount is automatically calculated.
You're welcome!
